Internal Medicine Physician | Graduate of UNAM | Health educator | Interest in research. I am a specialist in Internal Medicine with more than 12 years of experience in the comprehensive management of complex diseases. I trained at the Facultad de Medicina of UNAM and completed my specialty at the Centro Medico Nacional Siglo XXI of IMSS, one of the most important referral centers in Mexico. My approach goes beyond diagnosing and treating diseases: I am interested in getting to know each patient's history in depth, clearly explaining their condition, and accompanying them step by step in their recovery and follow-up, developing a personalized plan. My areas of care include diseases such as: high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, diseases of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, skin, and immune system, blood disorders, as well as highly complex and difficult-to-diagnose conditions. I also have extensive experience in adult vaccination and caring for patients before and after surgery, known as perioperative assessment. I offer house-call medical care for carefully selected patients in Mexico City. In addition to clinical practice, I have been a university professor at UNAM and at Universidad Anahuac at the undergraduate and graduate levels, I have participated as a researcher, and I have publications in national and international journals, and I am an active member of the Colegio de Medicina Interna de Mexico and the American College of Physicians.
