About the Doctor

The effort to pursue good mental health has gained momentum in recent years, and there has been a push to reduce the stigma of psychiatric conditions, as well as of the specialist responsible for treating serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and addictions. Throughout my practice, and through my personal history, I have observed the notable change, as well as the success of a proper treatment and rehabilitation process for patients and the family members who accompany the patient toward improvement. I owe my education to the country's top university, as well as to the Instituto Nacional de Psiquiatria, which have shaped, in my clinical practice, expertise and empathy toward patients. In the past year my interest in sleep disorders has raised my patients' awareness of the importance of maintaining good habits and changing behaviors toward a greater degree of well-being.
