Since Medicine and Sports are my two great passions, within this specialty I found the exact formula to help people improve their health through physical activity. As a physician, and understanding that this specialty is not exclusive to high-performance athletes, I strive to help my patients treat injuries caused by sports practice itself, as well as the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, or obesity through a healthy lifestyle by prescribing exercise and nutritional plans suited to each case. As a high-performance athlete (Triathlete) I understand the specific needs of this population, which seeks, through a medical-sports check-up, to detect early any situations that could put their well-being at risk and in turn optimize their performance by measuring various parameters.
