About the Doctor

Hello! I am Dr. Elisa Aguilar, a dentist from UNAM, dedicated to private practice for more than 30 years, where the mission has been to stay at the forefront of dental techniques and materials in order to offer you quality Dentistry. I hold a diploma in Orthodontics and Myofunctional Orthopedics, and I believe it is vital to always keep updating! For that reason my latest courses have been on COVID 19 and the measures that need to be implemented to have a safe practice. For me it is very rewarding to be able to help you improve your oral health, implementing good habits, sometimes suggesting support with Omega-type supplements, which have been shown to help reduce gum inflammation. The idea is that once your treatment is finished, you only come back for check-ups and cleanings. In addition to "regular" anesthesia, I offer computerized anesthesia that significantly reduces the pain and fear that a traditional syringe involves. I also offer the option of performing treatments in a single session under general anesthesia, following a prior assessment by the anesthesiologist, at a clinic specialized for this purpose.
