About the Doctor

About me I am Dr. Karla Ramirez, I studied a Bachelor's Degree as a Dental Surgeon at the Facultad de Odontologia (C.U.) of Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico from 2014 to 2018. I subsequently completed the specialty in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics at Hospital General Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez from 2019 to 2023. I also passed the Certification exam of the Asociacion Mexicana de Ortodoncia (AMO) in January 2023 and I hold a Clinical Training Certification in Spark(R) Invisible Aligners. I subsequently completed a Master's Course at Clear Ortho International Program Basic Level in Invisible Aligners from 2023 to 2024 and finally completed the Clear Ortho International Program Intermediate Level Master's Course in September 2024. I also always perform quality treatments tailored to each patient, always seeking to improve their oral health and, in turn, their quality of life. I love getting to know my patients in depth and providing them with a calm and safe environment in the office. There has always been widespread fear of dentists, and my treatment philosophy is focused on performing treatments that are as painless as possible without forgetting effectiveness, functionality, and aesthetics. I hold certifications for the use of invisible aligners for the treatment of misaligned teeth and I am constantly updating myself for the management of the most advanced techniques in Aesthetic Orthodontics. I am interested in listening to the aesthetic and functional needs of each of my patients in order to help them recover or improve confidence in their smiles and in themselves. I love saying that dentists/orthodontists change smiles but also lives due to the great impact that a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile have on the perception and personal image one projects to others.
