About the Doctor

I am a graduate Physician and Surgeon from the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes and in Angiology and Vascular Surgery from UNAM. I completed my training at the Centro Medico Nacional Siglo XXI of the IMSS in Mexico City (DF). I worked on staff at the Hospital de Cardiologia No. 34 of the IMSS in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. I currently work only in private practice in order to provide better care to patients. I am dedicated to assessing all aspects related to circulation, usually manifestations or complications of chronic diseases, some associated with age, such as Diabetes Mellitus, Arterial Hypertension, Chronic Renal Insufficiency, and Chronic Venous Insufficiency, more commonly known as varicose veins. I usually see disorders of the lower extremities manifested by pain, changes in color, texture, sensitivity, and swelling (edema). Not all diseases require surgery; with timely care and early diagnosis, appropriate medical management can be provided, allowing both alternatives to be offered for these conditions.
