I am Montserrat Jimenez, a physician surgeon specializing in PSYCHIATRY. I hold an Advanced Specialty in Gender, Sexuality, and Reproductive Health. I have training in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy and a Diploma in gender violence. I see patients with Mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder, or adjustment disorders), Anxiety disorders, Post-traumatic stress disorder, Obsessive-compulsive disorder, Personality disorders, Neurodevelopmental disorders, Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, and Substance use disorders. Because of my training in gender-oriented psychiatry, I specialize in people with a history of violence and support them in facing its consequences, as well as providing care in gender transition support and some sexual dysfunctions of psychogenic origin.
