About the Doctor

I am Pamela Lagler, a physician and surgeon from the Escuela Médico Militar, with a specialty in Psychiatry from the Escuela Militar de Graduados de Sanidad, with a high specialty in Gender, Sexuality and Reproductive Health Psychiatry at the Instituto Nacional de Psiquiatría "Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz." I have training in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I hold a Diploma in Gender, Eroticism and Sexuality from the Instituto Universitario Carl Rogers. I provide care to: -Patients of any sex/gender or sexual orientation who present mood and/or anxiety disorders, moderate to severe, who have been victims of gender-based, family, intimate partner, and/or sexual violence. -Patients with sexual dysfunctions and compulsive sexual behavior disorders as a primary problem or as a consequence of psychopharmacological treatment, a medical condition, or a current illness. -Patients who require psychiatric and/or psychotherapeutic support during transition processes toward the expression of some form of sexual diversity (LGBTTIQ+ population). -Specialized care for patients with a history of gender-based, family, intimate partner, and/or sexual violence who present symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, specifically through narrative exposure therapy (NET). -In addition to the various psychiatric disorders such as: Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, among others. The most important thing for me is to provide professional care, with quality and warmth, with the goal of improving mental health and thereby contributing to the patient's greater overall well-being.
