Dr. Ubaldo Carpinteyro Espín

About the Doctor

A native of León, he studied Medicine at the Universidad de Guanajuato. He did his specialty in General Surgery at the Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas and his specialty in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. During four years of residency at the Hospital General de México "Dr. Eduardo Liceaga," which is considered "the cradle of Mexican plastic surgery," he learned from the best. He trained under a demanding work pace. Hundreds of surgeries during hospital practice, surgical campaigns in different areas of the country; a subspecialization in Breast Reconstructive Surgery in Mexico City, significant stays at clinics and universities abroad, in addition to courses and conferences in different cities across the country, all of which has allowed him to accumulate experience and gain a range of specialized knowledge. He has authored multiple articles in specialized national and international journals. He is a member of several national associations such as the AMCPER (Asociación Mexicana de Cirugía Plástica, Estética y Reconstructiva, A.C.) and the Asociación Médica del Centro Médico ABC; a member of international societies such as the FILACP (Federación Ibero-Latinoamericana de Cirugía Plástica). In 2015 he obtained first place nationally in the Certification Examination of the Consejo Mexicano de Cirugía Plástica, Estética y Reconstructiva, A.C.
