I am Dr. Vanesa S. Talmot, Nephrologist with more than 19 years of experience in the care of adult patients. I completed my studies in Argentina, my home country, where I studied Medicine, the Specialty in Internal Medicine, and later the Specialty in Nephrology at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario. In 2016, I decided to settle in Mexico, where I obtained the revalidation of my degrees through the Secretaría de Educación Pública. I successfully passed the exam of the Consejo Mexicano de Nefrología, achieving my Certification in 2017. I have worked as a Nephrologist Physician at the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE) in the city of Cancún from 2017 until March 2024. Throughout my professional career, I have acquired extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of various kidney diseases, including diabetic kidney disease, a frequent complication in patients with poorly controlled diabetes. My training as a nephrologist and internist has allowed me to acquire great experience in the management and control of patients with type 2 diabetes, among many other conditions. My approach to medical care is based on providing consultations with dedication, without rushing, giving the necessary time that each case warrants, always with empathy, professionalism, and warmth.
